Hi John, I have a MX7-180C which is very similar, if not exactly the same fuselage as the M5. I live near Charlotte NC, based at AKH. I would be happy to show you around my MX7. Send me a direct message if you want to get togetherFlyBall John wrote:Are there any members on this forum in the central NC area with a 4-place M4 or M5? I would love to see one up close and perhaps sit in it or go for a ride because by the numbers they really look like great planes. Thx

I have a Maule M5-210C. It's my compliment to a RV6. And for the same reason. Needed a family plane with a 6yr old in the back. Plus can do some back country flying. The continental IO-360 is a good engine. I was a lycoming engine guy before I got it but I'm happy with it.FlyBall John wrote:I would like to own a 4-place Maule to use as my family plane and compliment my RV4.

What happened to all the listings on Barnstormers? Seems that we are in a drought of airplanes for sale at the moment.

You don't even own a Maule, shouldn't you be on a Cessna Website!?!TxAgfisher wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 8:13 amcome on I got an airplane with your name on it. Think about your wife!

I thought I had my airplane deficit solved with a recently restored Piper Pacer but the deal fell through so I’m still hunting for a Maule or similar family plane.

I've owned both - a Maule is a lot more airplane than a Pacer even though the genetics are the same.

Understood. At this point I just need something to stick my wife and son in...condition is more important to me than type.TxAgfisher wrote: ↑Wed Sep 02, 2020 6:45 amI've owned both - a Maule is a lot more airplane than a Pacer even though the genetics are the same.
