Agreed. In my mind, itâ€™s matched with â€œ1952 Vincent Black Lightningâ€ by Richard Thompson, for best motorcycle song.

â€œLearning to Flyâ€ by Tom Petty is an obvious one, though nowhere near as good as Tree Top Flyer.

Good taste! 1962 Vincent Black Lightning is one of my favorites!...and Iâ€™m not even a motorcycle guy.

I'm very impressed that the such a UK rooted song as Vincent Black Lightning is known to our American friends (although Richard Thomson does say that he wrote it as a British version of American death of bad-boy boy-friend songs).
