Looking for some intel on Wheel Skis for Maules. I've used fixed skis in the past and recently purchased an M-7-235-C. first Maule with spring gear so curious of others experiences. I'm looking to pick up a set of wheel skis for this coming winter/ice fishing season. I see Trickair makes skis that will work. Not sure who else does if any. not interested in hydraulic skis given weight and additional complexity of operation. Thoughts?

Good to know. I’ll see if I can arrange a look see. You still have the straight skis?

Not sure if the aero ski R2900 would work with the spring gear but I have had great luck with them on my Maule.

Interesting design. it appears there is a cable that makes it way into the cockpit for activation of the skis. any issues with them freezing in either position?

we have TrickAir skis on our M7-235C. They work great. Takes about 20 min to put them on or take them off.

Thanks for the info. how deep a snow pack have you had them in and how did they perform. I've been in over three feet of powder on straight fluidyne skis which did well. once you started forward they rode up on top pretty quickly.

Sorry, meant Airglass. been looking at Fluidyne as an option. Too much research...brain freeze.
