MAULE wins Light Touring Class VALDEZ!!!

Isaac's new M-7 won the light Touring class here at the Valdez today!!! Just thought I'd let everyone know.
Total take off and landing distance of 183ft. Take off was 85ft and landing of 98ft....

That is fantastic. A friend took a bunch of photos of Isaac's plane at the show and it looks great.

I looked for video of the Valdez Competiion but can't find any with the Maule in it. If anyone has any, please share.

I'd love to see some inside video of the airspeed pitch and power settings for the take offs and landings too. Very impressive.

Great to see a Maule as best in class!! Kudos to Chet Harris for getting in there and showing everyone how to fly a short wing!!!!
I can't remember if I fired six shots, or only five.....

Chet was great! He flew in late Saturday through poor weather and arrived as his competition heat was staging. He had no time to drain fuel or strip the plane down and he still pulled of an impressive 98’ take off and 130’landing which was better than some of the Supercubs.
