Ironically, I just discovered this little gem about an hour ago on the interweb and I'm enamored.

I've never been an RC guy, but I may be now!

Mini MAULE

Post by VA Maule »

Just watched the video wish mine could performed that well  1/2 plane length take off , approved for aerobic flight, automatic get your a$$ out of trouble button, and 5 or6 plane length no breaks landing .

Note to Factory: come on Maule get cracking on that STC we all want performance like that

I just now pre-ordered one. Estimated late March for shipping. Even if I can't fly it worth a durn, it'll be a cool office ornament

Going to have to call my insurance agent. Not sure I can afford hull insurance on a newer model.

Especially with it being on wheels AND floats. Do you think insurance would consider this a single place only? premium should be cheaper with no passengers.

Chris, food for thought; the floats double as snow skis on this model.....

I love the BD Maule 'take off inside the structure' simulation.

Odd the RC pilot exactly duplicated my flying style. 8)

 I'm having trouble getting mine to hold knife edge like that. It seems I don't have quite enough rudder......

I received a FedEx notification today that Horizon Hobby created a shipping label for my RC Maule. Sounds like it should be shipping out soon.

Looks nice, now get some oversized Pnematic light tires and do some STOL work with it.
