I know a guy that's got both A&P and IA at 9R5 just outside of Corpus Christi that's done some Maule work.

A & P with IA for Port Lavaca

Post by Ron Hallmark »

Thank you. Dave and Kim gave me a name, and I would like to look up the person at 9R5 too. The purchase is not completely settled yet, so I am on hold for a few more days.

Is it listed for sale somewhere? I am fairly local to the area and I didn't know of another M4 being down this way.

Is Port Lavaca recovered from Harvey yet?

Mine is a 73' M4-210C. Love it and I believe it has some history from that area as well! If it lives near salt water, check it closely for corrosion! I had to replace some tubing near the tail a couple of annuals ago.
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

Thanks guys................right now just waiting for a reply to purchase agreement. Then the real work begins, pre-purchase inspection, etc. Thanks for the leads, and I may be checking in with you guys.

Well, looks like I did something the "Broker" in TX didn't like, so .......looks like he gave the deal to someone else. Maybe asking for a "purchase agreement" that was reviewed by an AOPA lawyer gave him a bad taste, or something. So when I thought the deal was ready to close, except for the details, looks like I was wrong. I am still looking though. Jeremy said he would look for an elderly M-4-210C as soon as the fires died down in his neighborhood.
