There are 2 things wrong with this ad that was run in AOPA, EAA Sport Aviation, and Trade-A-Plane last month. Did anybody else catch it?

First of all welcome to the Maule club.

Your information on the DA-20 is accurate, however the aircraft pictured in the ad is not a DA-20. The dead give-away is the hershey bar style, squared off wingtip and the white position light on the vertical stab that extends through the horizontal. All of the Diamond fleet have upsloped wingtips and continueously curving lines. This is a design carried forward from their glider production days. The Diamond also hase a more delta shaped horizontal stab mounted on the very top of the vertical...it does not have a place to mount the white tail position light that is seen in the photo.
