Maule seat covers

Post by st8cop166 »

Anyone have a source for seat covers that would fit the MXT-7? Just recovering from sticker shock on a new paint job and need to "get by" on the interior for a couple of years. I know there are some sheepskin covers around but I'm just not sure what I think about them. It would be nice to find covers for front and back seats. Looked through past forums and couldn't find any prior discussions. Maybe I missed it.

For about twice of what you would pay for sheepskin, you can have these custom made to your exact specifications.

These guys:

Had custom fit sheepskin pullover seat covers at last year's aviation trade show for $100/ea. I don't see them on their website anymore but I bet they still do it. I checked them out and they looked like quality work.
You have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming a pilot. You can't do both!

Was in northern Maine over the weekend with - 25* F without the windchill factor.

Add one voluptuous wife and two large Greyhounds and I was toasty warm.

I'll give them a call. $100 "buttpad" for me is indeed a bargain!

I want to make a flight up to Maine but think I'll wait until it warms up.

Those look good, however sheepskin seat covers take up a Lot of room, both vertically and horizontally.
So, usefulness depends on operators size and on which seat cushions (1.5" to 5") are fitted.
