M6-235, universal wing, large rudder, 21 gallon aux tanks (85G total), HD extended gear, 31" ABW's, baby bushwheel with 1 1/2" spring, MT two blade prop, plane power alt, lightweight starter and odyssey battery 1631 lbs empty.

M5-235, standard wing with 11.5 gallon Aux tanks, HD Extended Gear, 26" Goodyear tires, Scott 3200 little tail wheel, banner tow hook (was on the plane when I bought it, just a good place to tie down) 2 Blade Hartzell. 1583LBS Empty.

My '65 M4 on extended gear, 35's etc. tipped the scales at 1306.

1971 M4 220C. Franklin 220 hp, McCauley 2 blade CS. Full panel. Full interior. Patroller doors. Extended HD gear, double puck. Scott 3200. Big battery. 8.50 Goodyear tires. Skytec starter. Unusable fuel and full of oil. Weighed - Empty - 1459 lbs.

The M4 may not be legal with the long wing, but it makes up a little bit by being very light comparatively.

1998 MXT-7-180 CS MT prop, IFR, adsb, leather interior, EDM 900,

1551 lb empty with 2500 lb gross.

IF lithium batteries get approved then may approach 1000 lb!

That is all up to how you and the IA read 43.13...

ETX900 is TSO'd. It is also about $700! 5.4lbs.

Just weighed it today 76 M5-210C. 1411 pounds. Extended HD gear. 8.50-6. Oratex on horizontal and elevators. Original razorback on rudder and fuselage. Double puck brakes, Scott 3200 tw. Aux fuel tanks. 2500 UpGross kit so 1089 useful.

Crbnunit, That Li battery is a deal! At $37.60 per pound of weight reduction, that's cheaper than Jenny Craig! Too bad I need a 24V.

Finished refurbishing 1975 M5-210c in September, everything pretty standard, Garmin VFR. Up Gross, chromemolly stringers, float fittings. 1388 lbs.
