How many veterans?

Post by Genedotson »

USAF, 1960 to 1964. San Antonia and Amarillo, Texas. 3 1/2 years in Dover, Delaware. Worked as aircraft mechanic on C-133 and C-124 cargo planes. Trained on B-47's at Amarillo. Does that keep it on topic?

'82-'86 USAF F-5 Avionics Tech: Lackland (of course), Keesler & Nellis
'87-'91 USAR UH-1H Avionics Tech & Crew Chief: Des Moines, IA

'91-'09 USA H-60 SP/IE: Mother Rucker, AL; Hunter AAF, Savannah, GA with an excursion to Kuwait; Wiesbaden, GE with stays in Kaposvar, HU, Tuzla, Bosnia & Albania; Ft Drum, NY; Schofield Barracks, HI with visits back to Bosnia and a little vacation to Afghanistan; Ft Riley, KS and completing the loop with a trip to everyone's favorite sunny spot, Tikrit, IQ. Of course there were the multiple get-aways to Ft Polk, LA and Ft Irwin, CA along the way. I might be able to count them all if I use both hands and both feet!

22.5 years for retirement was plenty for me and even more so for my lovely wife. The wives are the real troopers!
