I am thinking of doing a little hobby photography with someone taking the pictures from the back seat of my M5. Would it be best to pick up another rear door and revamp the window to open just for picture taking flights then switch the door back? The person taking the pictures is not real keen on flying with the door off! Any ideas? Thanks.

Years ago I installed a swing out window in the rear door via a feild approval. It worked great for photograghy. Don't know if it could be done today.

I've done dozens of hours door off. You can take both rears off for a very wide panning angle or, fly with middle door off and tape down the rear door catch so a stray coat sleeve does'nt hook it. If you tie a positive strap or line around you photographer on the ground and have him/her TRY to fall out when on the ground, it will instill the required confidence. If it's cold, then wear snowmachine suit and take the door/s with you to replace at closest landing site. Don't forget your wrenchs.
