One, two , three valve covers. Times two makes six. Lycoming gray.. Hey, that looks like my 540. But better?
PS. I met the fellow that has your old plane, looks like he's having fun with it.

I will check the dent thing... we got a 260 that we do annual on....a64pilot wrote:Nope, mines paid for, I don't wanna go down that road again.
I believe the 260 has to have a dent in the firewall for clearance to remove the oil filter doesn't it?

!
Looks great wup,
Why start with the MX7 and swap wings vs. a M6,7? Lighter, or thats what you had etc.? Did you go with the 32'11 or 33'5" wing?
Any ideas on empty weight yet? Looks like it should be a performer!
What prop are you going to run?
Thanks

Well to answer your questions
We were looking for a M6/MX7 for the lighter fusealodge (it may not be much but it is wt.) and the wings are the 33'8'' Prop is a 86" 2 blade Mac. Empty wt is very close to 1600# but not sure yet will get a chanc to put it on some scales soon I hope.
And YES I AM COMPENSATING...... I have gained 10#'s in my old age...
