Mini bike in a Maule

Post by N949JH »

Has anyone tried putting one of the mini bikes in their Maule? Coleman makes one that looks like it might fit but might require some disassembly.

Yeah, I’ve carried a Honda CT70 in my M-6. I’ve actually carried a Honda XR 250 in it as well, but that one required disassembly; the CT-70 goes right in with no disassembly. I do put a piece of plywood down first, as the stock floor isn’t quite strong enough for the point loading.

There are threads on here somewhere about both, with photos, but I can’t seem to get to them. Might be because they were on the old platform; they may no longer be accessible.

The 57"L x 26.5"H, 134 lb Coleman CT200U-EX looks like it would fit in a Maule without disassembly.

That is indeed a Honda CT 70 in all it glory fitting quite nicely in the back. Way back in the day 1974 to be precise I wanted soo bad a Honda XR 75 but Momma thought it was too fast ( salesman didn’t help me or himself with his race inspired sales pitch) so I wound up with the odd looking CT70 . As memory recalls about the only less cool looking thing was the CT 90
